The “SYMPATH Symposium on Targeting Synucleinopathies” took place at the Research Institute of Molecular Pathology (IMP) in Vienna on 28th March 2017. The event was a great success, bringing together world-leading experts to discuss recent progress in developing new potential biomarkers and therapeutic concepts, including vaccines, for Parkinson´s disease (PD) and multiple system atrophy (MSA). Over 100 people attended the symposium which, alongside the presentations, also hosted a poster session and an interactive exhibition.
